Youth Forum

Mousetrap's Youth Forum is made up of young people aged 15 - 23 who have joined us as members of theatrelive4£5, WestEnd4£10 or AccessTheatre4£5 and wanted to get more involved with Mousetrap and at the same time gain valuable experience of working in the Arts.

The purpose of the Youth Forum is to advise Mousetrap on its development as an organisation from a young person's perspective, to ensure the programmes that we offer remain relevant, engaging and beneficial to their needs.

The Youth Forum also run their own projects, including organising our annual Mousetrap Awards: the only theatre awards run for and by young people.

Members regularly assist at our programmed theatre trips, handing out tickets for members of our TheatreLive4£5 and WestEnd4£10 groups, as well as help out with education projects and at post-show talks. In return they get to see a lot of theatre, meet new friends and gain valuable experience of working in the Arts.

The Youth Forum also participate in leadership training, fundraising events and volunteer at major events such as West End LIVE, enabling them to play an active part in the London theatre community and gain insight and connections to support their future careers.
