We all want to meet people from history. The trouble is everyone is dead! BARMY BRITAIN is back with a brand-new show full of crazy new characters and rude new rulers from Britain’s barmy past!

Go house hunting with King Henry VIII! Join the gorgeous Georgians as they take over England! Break into Buckingham Palace and hide from the Queen! Will you be conquered by William? Will you sink or swim with King Henry I? Don’t miss this brand-new production of Britain’s favourite history show!

Tickets available for the 2pm performances on Thurs 5th, Tues 10th, Mon 16th & Tues 24th August

If you book tickets to see Barmy Britain on Monday 16th August you can also book a place at our FREE ART WORKSHOP hosted by Sketch Appeal! Arrive at The Cartoon Museum at 9.30am ready for an exclusive private tour of the space (it’s closed to the public on Mondays), followed by a free 60 minute art workshop.

DRESS UP AND DRAW!

Fancy dress is optional, but highly encouraged at this special workshop hosted by Sketch Appeal! They’d love you to come dressed up as a famous Brit (dead or alive!). You will be invited to pose whilst the rest of the group draw your portrait and your host will show you some fun ways to create unique and colourful portraits - zero skills required!

Workshop and tour suitable for ages 6+
