Young People

Young people are at the heart of everything we do. To bring the joy of live theatre to them at an affordable price and in a safe environment is key.

Young People often begin going to the theatre through our Family First Nights programme and when they turn 18, they are eligible to join our Go Live Club where they can continue to explore their love of theatre.

Open to anyone aged 18-30, Go Live offers you the opportunity to see top theatre shows from as little as £10 per ticket. So, prepare to enjoy a whole raft of live theatre from local and fringe venues to the best of the West End. Sign-up today!

Garek Theatre Camp

Garek Theatre Camp (formerly known as Summer Stage) is a lower cost, inclusive performing arts Summer school for young people aged 13 to 17. Over the course of the camp (we offer a one week and a two-week option), you will work together to create an original piece of theatre which is showcased at the end of the camp. Plus, you also get to see a top West End show!  

Youth & Community Groups

We work with disadvantaged communities and groups for young people in specific circumstances, such as young carers and refugees and asylum seekers.

Stagexchange

The programme includes a series of drama-based workshops (tailored to suit your needs) delivered by expert creative practitioners in your youth group setting, as well as a trip to see a West End show. It aims to inspire young people who might not have done any drama previously, supporting them to develop confidence, communication and creativity.

Creative Connections: Community

This out-of-school programme empowers young people facing challenging circumstances to devise their own piece of original theatre. By bridging the gap between aspiring talent and industry professionals, the initiative fosters a community rooted in shared lived experiences. Our mission is to nurture the next generation of theatre-makers by providing meaningful connections with peers and creative mentors.

Youth Forum

The Go Live Youth Forum is a collective of creative, enthusiastic, committed young voices (aged 18-30) helping us make theatre more accessible to children and young people. 

As a Youth Forum member, you’ll take part in six in-person meetings per year, contribute to shaping our future, and gain valuable experience and training in arts leadership. No previous theatre experience is needed - just passion and commitment.
